Free Proxy/VPN Applications

Encrypting internet Activity
(Last Updated On: September 26, 2021)

What is a VPN?

VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. They are used for secure connection to a remote network but it can also be used to bypass internet censorship.

Why Use a VPN?

As VPN provides a secure encrypted connection to a remote server, you are protected from local intervention of hackers and from your internet service providers and governments who are snooping your internet activity.

Should I use free VPN?

There is a high risk of data leak while using free VPNs. Nothing is for free, either you pay with your money or with your data. However, some applications are monetized through advertisements and affiliated product marketing. Although free VPNs are not generally recommended but I will still like to recommend these for general public use.

ProtonVPN

ProtonVPN’s free and Paid VPN service. It is secure and the company’s main focus is privacy. They also offer free encrypted mailbox. This is a premium service, subsidized as free by the paid users. You can choose to buy it for more features and speed.
